We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta) and, where it applies, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada).
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly, such as when you call us, submit the quote request form, or have work carried out. This may include:
• Your name, phone number, and the address or location where service is needed
• An email address, if you choose to provide one
• Details of the lock, door, or vehicle involved, and what you need done
• Identification and proof of entitlement shown to a locksmith on site

We may also collect limited information automatically when you use this website, including:
• IP address and general location
• Browser and device type
• Pages viewed and time spent on them
• Advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters present in the link you arrived through
3. Identification Shown to a Locksmith
Before opening a property or vehicle, our locksmith will ask you to show identification and something connecting you to the address or the vehicle. This is a security practice that protects you.
We note that entitlement was verified and what type of document was shown. We do not need to keep photocopies or scans of your identification in order to do that, and we do not retain images of your identity documents for marketing purposes.
4. Security-Sensitive Records
Locksmith work produces information that is sensitive by nature, such as key codes, key numbers, lock types installed at an address, master key charts, and access control credentials.
We treat those records as confidential. They are used only to serve you, are not sold or shared for marketing, and are released to a third party only with your authorization or where we are legally required to do so.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Quote, schedule, and carry out the work you have asked for
• Reach you about the job, including calling you back after a form submission
• Keep a record of work performed, for warranty and for follow-up service
• Take payment and keep the financial records the law requires us to keep
• Understand which advertising brought a customer to us, in aggregate

6. Sharing of Your Information
We may share information with:
• Service providers acting on our behalf, such as payment processing, telephone service, and website hosting
• Professional advisors, such as accountants or legal counsel
• Law enforcement, a regulator, or a court, where we are required or permitted by law to do so
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
This website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure the effect of advertising. Where an advertising click identifier is present in the link you arrive through, it may be recorded with your enquiry so we can tell which campaign produced it.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Doing so does not stop you from calling us or from using the site.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires us to keep it. Job and financial records are kept for the periods required for tax and business record keeping.
